Communication on Hinchingbrooke NHS Trust Hospital Next Steps Project

Dear stakeholder panel member,

I am delighted to send you this quick update from the Strategic Projects Team.

Grab your diaries for the stakeholder panel meetings

As you know, the next stakeholder panel meeting is being held on Thursday 26th November at Huntingdon library, at 2pm.  We really hope to see you there.  Please do come along and tell friends, users, colleagues and anybody else who might be interested. We are committed to involving as many people as possible in Hinchingbrooke Next Steps, so your help in spreading the word would be much appreciated.  If you can’t make it and/or have specific questions for the day, please email strategic.projects@eoe.nhs.uk putting the date of the meeting in the subject line.

Please click here for an updated agenda of our next meeting.

We really want these meetings to be interactive so have introduced some break out groups which will allow you to consider:

  1. the questions posed in the first copy of Next Step News (click here to see a copy)
  2. what individual stakeholders can do to raise awareness of Hinchingbrooke Next Steps among the public, patients and professionals.

Please give these questions some thought before you arrive, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss with other members and feed back.

The address of the library is:
Huntingdon Library
Princes St
Huntingdon
Cambridgeshire
PE29 3PA

Some of the participants at the first stakeholder panel asked that the times of future meetings be varied, enabling people who have daytime commitments to attend.  The times of two of the meetings have now been changed.  Please click here to see the schedule for future events.

Keep it green

To avoid you personally printing out copies of items that we intend to supply at the next stakeholder panel meeting, you may like to know that the attendees’ packs will include:

  1. Agenda
  2. Minutes of the last meeting
  3. Progress on HNS project, plus updated timeline
  4. Details of the proposed sub-group
  5. Next Steps News
  6. ‘Searching for a bright future’ flyer
  7. Envelope for returning responses to Next Steps News questions
  8. Strategic Projects Team News Update

As a stakeholder panel member, we need you to prepare for your meeting by reading as much of the relevant material as possible.

Choices and some of your questions

Thank you to those who have provided feedback and questions as they have been pretty diverse, ranging from ‘will car parking be part of the franchise contract’ to ‘what’s the background to the choices for Hinchingbrooke’. Click here for more information on these questions and some FAQs.

Next Steps News

We are preparing the New Year edition of Next Steps News which will give you progress on the Next Steps Project, the latest timeline and details of the questions asked and responses provided.

Do let us know if there is anything else you would like to see included by going to our website and leaving your comments, using the contact us form.

Please, keeps your involvement coming!
